How do you clone on Diamond or Pearl?

Its basically when ur depositing a pokemon in the GTS on the 8th spin turn the power off then turn it back on...itll say error etc etc load the game and u should walk out of the doors den go back in and retrive the pokemon in the GTS and there should also be another in ur box.
